Xerox came to us from Brianna Olesen, bred by Arcticice Kennels in Northern Alberta. He is the boy who picked Sherri. Meeting this handsome boy in April of 2017 changed our lives forever. Originally it was his sister, Xia, who Sherri was to handle for their breeder. But fates stepped in and the leash was handed over for Sherri to work her magic with Xerox in the show ring. We didnt know it at that time but Xerox started forming a special bond that the two share. If you see Sherri, Xerox is not far away and vice versa. Gaining 8 of his Championship points Sherri had to hand over the lead to Shannon DeBruin as our eldest daughter had her Grade 9 graduation. Thank you Shannon for finishing Xerox's Canadian Championship and a HUGE thank you to his previous owner, Brianna, who generously allowed Xerox to come here.
Xerox finished his Canadian Grand Championship at the Hub City Quad Arctic Specialty under judge Rick Fehler. That afternoon he won a 3 point major Best of Breed under judge Janet Buchannan and then the following day repeated his Best of Breed win at the Hub City Group 3 & & Specialty under judge Tannis Postma. Huge THANK YOU to Peggy Mignon for handling Xe to these fabulous wins and taking him to #1 CED in Canada as of May 9, 2019!!

During the summer and fall of 2019 Xerox competed in Chase Ability and Sprinter trials in Alberta. Our nemesis, butterflies, were always a cause for concern as he would stop dead in his tracks to play and catch them. We prevailed and he completed both his CA (Chase Ability) and NS (Novice Sprinter) titles launching him in to the Canadian Kennel Club record books (and also world wide) as the first and only Canadian Eskimo Dog to earn these titles!! Watch for this magnificent beast in 2020 as he works towards his Sprinter (S) and Chase Ability Excellent (CAX) titles as well as some rally obedience too!!

In September 2023 Xerox turned 7, making him a veteran. While I had no plans to ever show him again, I took the chance and entered him in an all breed and associated CED specialty. Entered in both as a Veteran and Specials at the all breed he won two Select Dog placements, earning him 6 points towards his GChBronze title. He had so much fun that when I had the chance to enter him in another Specialty I did. Piloted by one of his favorite "kids" he won Best Veteran In Specialty Show April 2024. It was nice to hear from others on how well behaved and quiet he is! A true ambassador for the breed.
