Ch Arcticice Qimmiq Xerox

Xerox came to us from Beverly Aresenau and Brianna Olesen of Arcticice Kennels in Fort Assiniboine, AB.  He really belonged to Brianna but this breed picks their owners.  I met Xerox at the Red Deer & District Kennel Club show April of 2017.  He was going to be shown by another handler, as i was showing his sister Xia, but they didnt show up at ringside so I graciously grabbed the leash.  I think that was the beginning of my love for this breed.  Following our first weekend together I went home and began researching and reading as much as I could about the Canadian Eskimo/Inut Dog, aka Qimmiq.  The breed is near extinction and it is only with the dedicated help of a few breeders and owners that we are able to see these beautiful, hard working clowns in the show ring.

I am in the process of build this page.  Please check back for more information as I have the time to work on it!!

We pride ourselves in only breeding dogs who excel in what they were originally bred to do.  All of our dogs are first and foremost family members.  They live in the house with us and are our constant companions.  Occaionally a dog does not meet our strict criteria, when that happens they either remain living with us or find that perfect retirement home.  At this time we have a 7 year old Smooth Fox Terrier looking for an experienced retirement home.  Please inquire for more information.
